Dear Shirley,
First, congratulations on the AI Strategic Plan—fantastic work!
I understand that you have begun coordinating the design and deployment of various AI Agents and Assistants across Verdenost's divisions.
As outlined in the Plan, our Internal Audit Team will monitor the risks of these implementations, and we are fully committed to supporting this effort.
However, one critical aspect seems to be missing: AI Agents and Assistants must understand business risks to integrate proper uncertainty assessments into applications. Yet, my team has not been invited to the AI applications design workshops.
We are uniquely positioned to contribute to this challenge. Our expertise in risk-aware decision-making, combined with a systems-thinking approach, equips us to help LLMs learn our decision processes and optimize automation.
While external AI experts bring technical proficiency, they are not risk professionals—why not leverage internal expertise alongside them?
I would welcome a discussion on how we can establish a collaborative framework to ensure AI applications are both innovative and risk-informed.
Looking forward to your thoughts.
Best regards,
